Our family of five (three of them being 6yo and younger) goes through about two pigs a year, to give you an idea of what you can consume in a year. In one whole pig you will roughly get the following:
- 26 lbs Pork chops - 6 lbs Spare Ribs - 18 lbs Sausage ground meat in 1 lb packages - 30 lbs Ham cut into multiple hams - 16 lbs Bacon in 1 lb packages - 20 lbs Shoulder Roast in multiple roasts - 8 lbs Butt Pork Roast in multiple roasts
Special requests for cuts available as well.
This totals roughly $4.66/lb, but fluctuates per pig a bit. The $700 price is “all in” and covers the piglet, feed for six months, raising the pig (our labor), slaughter, butcher, smoking and packaging.
All pigs butchered at licensed butcher, Litchke Farms.
We are located in South Range, WI, but will deliver anywhere in the Twin Ports area or the Twin Cities along 35 south between Duluth, MN and Waseca, MN.
